PROPERTY`S HISTORY:
Over the years the building has had multiple destinations. Initially thought and built as a spa establishment, later, starting with 1912, it became a hotel.
Hotel Palace Busteni has a casino, mineral baths, halls with music machines and many other facilities.
He kept this destination until 1916 when he became a local command for Austro-Hungarian troops. After the end of the First World War, there will be a hotel again, until 1943 when Marshal Ion Antonescu decides to take over the hotel, to use it for the benefit of the army as a hospital for soldiers wounded in the Second War.
After nationalization, the building will function for many years as an orphanage, the names of the orphanage directors „9 Mai ” being inscribed until today on a broken plate, located on one of the interior walls.
In the attic are still found uniforms and pioneer caps.
